About Artisense

We believe in a future where all things around you are connected and smart. To unlock a new level of productivity, a more intuitive relationship between humans and digital content as well as machines, we aim to provide any device that has a camera - which will be any device - with an accurate sense of where it is in order to interact with humans, other machines and smart systems.

Artisense is a computer vision and sensor fusion software company that develops an integrated localization platform using cameras as a lead sensor for the automation of robots, vehicles and spatial intelligence applications. Artisense provides products and technology for highly accurate, robust and safe navigation with low-cost hardware.

Artisense was founded in 2016 as a spin-off of the Technical University of Munich (TUM) by Prof. Daniel Cremers and Andrej Kulikov. Following December 2021, Artisense is now a subsidiary of Kudan Inc. which develops computer software algorithms classified as Artificial Perception (AP) and continues to serve its mission of delivering autonomy through robust positioning.
